Sir Sayyed Ahmad Khan’s Haveli

Sir Sayyed Ahmad Khan’s Haveli:

Sir Sayyed Ahmad Khan was born in 1817 AD and he passed away in 1894. His grave is in the mosque at the Aligarh Muslim University. His ancestors came to India during the rule of Zalaluddin Mohammad Akbar from Arab and settled here. Sir Sayyed Ahmad Khan’s biography can be read in Hayate Jawed. His father was named Sayyed Mohammad Mutakki Khan and his grand father was Nawab Debrudaula. Sir Sayyed Ahmad Khan’s mansion (haveli) was near the mosque (Masjid) Aulia. The haveli has now been converted into homes of people.
